Nathan grew up Italian, shrowded in pasta, wine, and cheese. He currently resides in Rochester, NY, where he grew up.

From a young age, magic, monsters, and especially the fantastic creatures that accompany them were the center of his world. None of which takes more presidents than perhaps the most mystical of them all, dragons. The bejeweled beasts drove him forward and fostered his inner writer, pushing him to pursue his passion.

As a boy, Nathan spent most of his time submerged in a world of ink. It started out as simple trips to the bookstore but soon blossomed into book fairs and book clubs, of which one of his favorites delved into the third installment of Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle: Brisingr.

Paolini's Inheritance Cycle, as well as Colleen Houck's Tiger's Curse, J.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, Alison Goodman's Eon, and Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, as well as books by Cinda Williams Chima, Bram Stoker, and Frank Hubert. Each of them had a wonderful impact on his life that he cherishes with every word he writes.

Nathan began writing his first novel at 16, Zenlogia. It is his most cherished memory and possession, the drive for his writing, and the source of his brand.

He began writing Nightwalker after entering college with a vision. The drastic decline in the quality of vampire/werewolf and monster work as a whole, combined with the continuous repetition of similar books, drove him to change the view of the vampire, armed with his knowledge of history and the original myths, dating all the way back to Vlad the Impaler and source of the Dracula legend.

Like Zenlogia and the two sequel books in the series, Nightwalker began by creating the whole story, from the first book to the last, and laying out every important detail. His realistic characters and their more realistic actions come from his ability to set himself in place of the character, acting and thinking as if they would. He found that acting outdoors through camping, forging weapons, and pottery helped him envision a deeper world and understand their experience.

Nathan is grateful to all of his readers, and, most importantly, those who share his love for fantasy, including all things magic and dragon. He is currently working on several projects which are in the works. His three-time award-winning debut novel Nightwalker is now available.
